Faux Chex Party Mix | Keto | Low Carb

This party mix recipe is a real crowd-pleaser! It is a quick and easy snack mix that is keto, gluten-free, and low carb friendly. It is made with nuts and pork rinds (so no Chex cereal like you traditionally see in a party mix). The pork rinds soak up all that delicious seasoned butter while baking, yet stays crunchy after it's been baked. It's amazing! I used two flavors of pork rinds to give more depth in the flavoring. The different flavors of pork rinds is a great replacement for the different flavors of Chex cereal that is normally used in a party mix. This is a delicious and addictive keto party mix! If you've been wishing for a low carb chex party mix, you have to make this Faux Chex Party Mix recipe. I made this a few weeks ago to have for take-along snacks at picnics and parties. Everyone that tried it, loved it, including myself! I do admit, I am addicted. I have another batch going right now in my oven. Can you smell it? Sorry if you can't! I guess you will have to make your own. It's super easy. I promise!

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon seasoned salt (such as Red Robin Original Blend Seasoning, or and Lawry's) 1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

3 cup mixed nuts (I did 2 cups mixed nuts, 1 cup macadamia nuts)

1 (2.5 oz) bag Epic Pork Rinds, Pink Himalayan Salt, broken into bite-size pieces

1 (2.5 oz) bag Epic Pork Rinds, BBQ flavored, broken into-bite size pieces

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 250°F.

2. In a large mixing bowl, add mixed nuts and pork rinds and stir gently until mixed.

3. Place butter in a medium size bowl. Melt butter in the microwave, just until melted (about 25-30 seconds). Remove bowl from microwave. Add seasonings and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.

3. Gradually pour the butter mixture over the mixed nut and pork rind mixture, Gently stir until evenly coated.

4. Place mixture on a baking sheet. Spread evenly.

5. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool before eating. Store in container with tight-fitting lid.

Enjoy!
